i. Bandhan Financial Services, on 23 August 2015 started operations as a SCB and it will be called as Bandhan Bank. The banking services were inaugurated by the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in Kolkata.
ii. With this, Bandhan became the first micro finance company in the country to start operations as a full-fledged commercial bank. It is also the first commercial bank from Eastern India to get RBI clearance since independence.
The Bhoomi Pujan of a new venture by the Seagull Publishers, named Seagull Printers was done on 8th March 2017. The employees of the Kriti Group were present on the occasion.
The venue was adjacent to the Kriti Printers and Publishers at Devri Rukhara (Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow).The directors of the Group, Mr Arvind Singh and Mr. Himanshu Singh and his family were a part of the havan.
After the rituals were complete, the employees took a stroll of the existing state of the art Kriti printing press and also captured their memories by clicking pictures in the luscious garden inside the premises. Refreshments and lunch was also organized for one and all.
The head office of the company at Lucknow was inaugurated in a simple yet impressive ceremony. The office premises were decorated with flowers and streamers that enhanced the radiance of the fresh paint.
The directors and senior management staff participated in an inaugural ‘havan’ performed in the Vedic style.
A short video was displayed highlighting the contributions of an erstwhile promoter whose birthday June 1, was chosen as the auspicious day for the launch of the new company.
Several guests, from the education industry and services complimented the promoters and managers of Seagull on its launching and showered their good wishes.
The function closed with a high tea wherein the guests and staff shared their thoughts and feelings and informally interacted in light vein.
